This is a member voluntary liquidation. This is used to close a company that has reserves/funds available to take as a capital distribution maybe using Entrepreneur relief (ER) and paying no more than 10% in tax.
This is a Company voluntary liquidation. Companies that have reached the point that they cannot any longer meet their liabilities would consider this option.
